Itinerary

Upon your arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport. Following airport formalities, you will be transferred to your hotel via a private vehicle. Relax and refresh yourself at the hotel. Altitude: 1400 m

This day will start with a briefing session about the upcoming trek. Then, we set off for Besisahar (760 M) in a private car. The drive will showcase stunning sights of hillside settlements, rivers, bridges, waterfalls, and beautiful mountain views. Besisahar, the crucial stopover for the Annapurna circuit trek, might not offer much but the stay is necessary for the trek. Altitude: 760 m

Following breakfast, we embark on a 6-hour journey to Dharapani in a private car. Savor a hearty lunch followed by an overnight stay. Try out some authentic local food for dinner and rest for the day ahead. Altitude: 1960 m

Our trail to Pisang begins today. We'll progress gradually through the route, witnessing steep and narrow valleys while ensuring utmost safety. The mighty Annapurna Massif and Paungda Danda Rock Face, a 1500m-high rise above the river and a subsidiary of Pisang Peak, will add to the scenic views. Altitude: 3300 m

We start towards the Manang valley after breakfast. On this trek, we'll walk through Tibetan settlements, immersing ourselves in the rich Buddhist culture. An overnight stay in Manang will give us a feel of the change in temperature. Altitude: 3540 m

A day for acclimatization and exploring local attractions like the Barge Monastery, and an invigorating hike to Gangapurna Glacier. These locales offer mesmerizing views of Annapurna III, Tilicho, Pisang and Chulu peaks.

Having spent a full day acclimatizing in Manang, we resume our journey towards Thorong High Camp, a 5-6 hour trek to reach an altitude of 4800 meters. It's impractical and risky to cross the Thorong La pass in a single day, hence we halt at Thorong High Camp. This also aids in acclimatizing for the forthcoming Thorong La Pass. Altitude: 4800 m

This stretch brings us to the highest point of the trek. Starting early around 4-4.30 AM, we make our way uphill, slowly and steadily ascending in altitude until we cross Thorong La pass, the world's highest pass. From there, we descend gradually to Muktinath at an altitude of 3800m, dropping down by around 1600 meters. The trek should take about 6 hours giving us time to explore Muktinath, a significant pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, visiting the temples and monasteries before an overnight stay. Altitude: 5416 m

After a tranquil morning visit to the sacred Muktinath Temple, known for its 108 water spouts and eternal flame, we embark on a scenic 1-hour drive to Jomsom, which offers breathtaking views of the Nilgiri mountains and is a gateway to the Mustang region. Altitude: 2,743 m

Take a flight from Jomsom to the adventure capital of Nepal, Pokhara. After landing, we'll set off to explore this vibrant city known for its stunning natural beauty and adventure activities. Visit the serene Fewa Lake for boating and then head to the awe-inspiring Davis Falls. End your day with a visit to the World Peace Stupa, offering panoramic views of the Annapurna mountain range. Note: If you're interested in paragliding, skydiving, or ziplining, these can be arranged at an additional cost. Altitude: 822 m

Enjoy another day diving deep into the wonders of Pokhara. Visit Begnas Lake for a more secluded boating experience and explore the mystic Mahendra Cave. Whether you're into adventure or just want to soak up the beauty, Pokhara has something for everyone. Optional activities such as paragliding and skydiving are available for thrill-seekers, subject to extra costs. The day offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure against the backdrop of the majestic Himalayas. Altitude: 822 m

We drive back to Kathmandu and check into our hotel. A farewell dinner will be organized to celebrate the successful completion of the trek. Altitude: 1400 m

It's time to bid farewell. We will ensure a timely departure by escorting you to Tribhuvan International Airport three hours before your scheduled flight. Altitude: 1400 m

Altitude Sickness

Altitude Mountain Sickness is an illness as an effect of high altitude resulting in a rapid change in air pressure (air gets thinner) and oxygen level (less oxygen to breathe). These are a group of symptoms that arise while walking at a high altitude (more than 2,500m above sea level) without properly acclimatizing the body. The point to be noted is that AMS can occur to anyone, even those with great physical fitness as it depends upon several factors. The most prominent factors are how much elevation you are gaining in what period of time, the place where you live, and the altitude there. Previous records of Altitude Sickness can also determine if you will get AMS.
